![]() ![]() If you play X class and earn some cool Runes that really synergize with that class, then you "kinda" progressed that class. Gaining access to more crafting recipes allows faster/further progression each play rather than trying to "grind mobs" in game for those items or whatever.ĥ) Everything is done on an Account wide basis. So there will be quite a bit of building out your gear for specific goals. You need lightning resist, for lightning enemies, fire for fire, etc. Gear is (from BETA screen shots) very elemental driven. So as you play there may be a sense of "gotta catch em all" so you unlock the gear, for further progression. We don't know yet, but my GUESS is as you do challenges/events and find armor pieces, these pieces will likely be recipes you can then craft again in future games. If you start a game, and they have some pretty awesome "starting" gear, thats also a give-away. You can likely catch on as well if you notice they have some Runes equipped that are part of that progression. AFAIK there is no "visual" tell, however you will immediately know they are not a total noob if they have other classes unlocked. I dont know many who can sit down for 2.5 hours straight and play, so I anticipate MOST games will be ending early. So its pretty safe to say that you will be earning some form of progression each and every game, even if you end early and frankly. There are also things like Runes to unlock (persistent account unlock) as well as recipes (persistent account unlock) as well as "starter gear packs" you unlock/earn. I completely avoid all "RogueLike" games as I am fueled by progression. Happy to help! I am a gamer probably VERY similar to you. Big Destiny and Diablo fan here.ĭo you think I'll enjoy this game or should I just keep waiting for the Diablo 2 remake? I am NOT a fan of roguelike games, for what ever reason I need progression elements. Say the family is out of town and I have way more time than normal and decide to hop into a "Survival" game.does my previous "Saga" progression carry over somehow? If a play as a certain class during this saga.do I progress that class for the next session? Or do I start over each time unlocking abilities, etc. What about Level Progression.is there a way for someone to tell they are playing with a seasoned veteran?ĭo you find / unlock weapons or armor during the playthrough? What do I take with me if I leave early? Loot? Anything? Wife is screaming at me so I have to end my game early. #TRIBES OF MIDGARD CLASSES FREE#Say I have 1hr of free time to play, and hop into a "Saga" game: The IGN video did not clear up some of my questions either. So I've been reading through some of the posts and am still a little confused. ![]()
